Our Red Deer office is growing and is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer. Currently this office has over 130 people supporting our clients locally and across Canada. Responsibilities include: - Preparing proposals, studies and report writing.
- Leading project teams and supervision of design engineers, technicians and construction inspectors.
- Conceptual, functional geometric and detailed design of urban roads and highways utilizing TAC (Transportation Association of Canada) and AT (Alberta Transportation) standards.
- Business development and client management.
- Project management and engineering review of design drawings.
- Tender document preparation, quantities and contract management.

| Qualifications: |
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGGA
- Successful candidates will have a minimum of 10-15 years of urban and rural roadway design and construction experience
- Good understanding of transportation planning/modeling and network analysis.
- Experience in functional geometric and detailed design of urban roads and highways utilizing TAC and AT Standards
- Good communication and writing skills
