Our Red Deer office is growing and is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer.  Currently this office has over 130 people supporting our clients locally and across Canada. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing proposals, studies and report writing.
• Leading project teams and supervision of design engineers, technicians and construction inspectors.
• Conceptual, functional geometric and detailed design of urban roads and highways utilizing TAC (Transportation Association of Canada) and AT (Alberta Transportation) standards.
• Business development and client management.
• Project management and engineering review of design drawings.
• Tender document preparation, quantities and contract management.

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGGA
• Successful candidates will have a minimum of 10-15 years of urban and rural roadway design and construction experience
• Good understanding of transportation planning/modeling and network analysis.
• Experience in functional geometric and detailed design of urban roads and highways utilizing TAC and AT Standards
• Good communication and writing skills
