Responsibilities:

 

Stantec is currently seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to work in our Red Deer office.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing project team work plans, RFQ's and cost estimates.
  • Producing contractual project documents.
  • Construction contract administration.
  • Evaluating and assimilating proposed design changes.
  • Preparing client meeting documentation.
  • Ensuring that design specifications lead to the successful delivery of solutions to our clients.
  • Coordination of worksite related inspections.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduate of an Architectural Technology diploma program from a recognized post secondary institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as a technologist in an architectural firm with a focus on commercial and institutional projects.
  • 5 years experience managing and delivering architectural projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-Up and AutoCAD.

Assets:

  • LEED Accreditation.
  • Experience on Healthcare projects.
  • Certificates with Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET)
