Our Environmental Management group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in marine biology, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, GIS, and Information Management. We help our clients to identify and respond to opportunities and threats within constantly changing regulatory and corporate environments, through active engagement with the public, stakeholder groups, and governmental regulators. Stantec's Calgary downtown (8^th Ave) office is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation and Water Resources team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical expertise and assist in leadership to the Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation and Water Resources team.
• Assist in client liaison and business development.
• Write and review proposals and technical reports.
• Mentoring of more junior staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Geology from a recognized university.
• Registered as a P. Geol. With APEGGA or be eligible for membership within 1 year.
• Minimum of 5 years experience preferably in Western Canada.
• A strong desire to grow your career and lead and mentor others.
• Practical ability to problem solve in various sectors particularly in the oil and gas and commercial/industrial settings.
