| Responsibilities: |
As PCPL the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with PC Managing Leader and the Principals and Associate group. The PCPL is primarily responsible for the quality and quantity of design and technical services and for the development of new opportunity. The PCPL is primarily responsible for "above the line" Practice issues, and has a secondary responsibility to support the PCML initiatives. More specifically:
• Build a strong design quality culture and teamwork, • Responsible for meeting organic growth objectives, • Develop and lead marketing and business development for PC, • Attract/grow and retain high quality staff, • Work with the Practice Area and Atlantic senior leadership team to create and nurture cross region/sector and "One Team' opportunities, • Coach, mentor, and develop future Leaders,

| Qualifications: |
The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the Resource Industry. With a minimum of 10 years professional experience of resource engineering projects, the candidate will have knowledge in both the design, project management and contract adminstration of successful projects.
Strong leadership, communication and team building skills are essential for the candidates to meet the expectations of this challenging position. The PCPL must be an individual who has the personality, experience and ability to effectively lead, challenge, and inspire the leadership group and staff to work together cohesively as a team. Prior consulting experience, within the Resource sector, and established client and agency contacts are desirable and be able to enhance Stantec's One Team Infinite Solutions principle. The PCPL will be our face to the community; they are the "image" of the Resource Group that should come to people's minds. The PCPL must have a demonstrated ability to champion DESIGN excellence with conviction and purpose. The PCPL must be an experienced practitioner with a strong resource focus knowledgeable in the design and delivery of high quality engineering design.
