| Overview: |
Reporting to the Director, Application Services, the Team Lead, Application Operations manages the team responsible for the operational support of the application functionality for all Oracle e-Business Suite modules, Oracle Portal, and Business Intelligence. This includes operational reporting, proactive/reactive incident management, batch processing, and data loads. Major responsibilities include:

| Responsibilities: |
- Assessing high priority application incidents and determining appropriate response procedures in a timely manner based on business impact and risk.
- Analyzing key performance indicators to identify opportunities to improve service levels and optimize team’s processes.
- Fostering a team-based approach to problem solving to address issues and improve the operational use of the application by users.
- Reviewing, coaching, and providing direction to team members on the design, approach, and content of deliverables based on operational experience and technical background.
- Assessing production changes prior to deployment in terms of operational support requirements and impacts.
- Working closely with other Team Leads and Project Management planning resource availability and scheduling IT initiatives such as Data Migrations for acquisitions.

| Qualifications: |
- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is preferred; however consideration will be given to candidates with other relevant education and work experience.
- 10 years IT experience with at least 5 years experience in an operational support role.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Experience supporting ERP applications involving one or more of the following: Financials [GL, AR, AP], Project Accounting & Billing, HRMS, Benefits, Timecards, Business Intelligence. Oracle e-Business Suite experience is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in applying ITIL best practices and possess ITIL certification.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Prior experience using Oracle-based tools and technologies such as Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Application Server, PL/SQL, Portal, Discoverer, OBIEE, Workflow, OAF, Forms, Java.
Strong communication skills - able to effectively communicate technical information in a manner that is easily understood. Project Management – able to define operational processes based on best practices to resolve incidents Able to prioritize workloads, ensure SOX controls for application operations are followed and processes are in place to attest to their compliance. Ability to continually monitor risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Leadership – proven ability to manage team member’s performance and career development. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to work with professionalism and confidentiality, and is able to work independently, multi-task and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment.
