| Responsibilities: |
Stantec’s Calgary Office is currently seeking Junior/Intermediate Contaminated Sites Engineers/Scientist s to work as part of our Environmental Remediation team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Conduct field work, site inspections and supervisie contractors
- Assist, direct and manage, for our various clients, the completion of the following:
- Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments,
- Detailed site assessments,
- Soil and groundwater monitoring programs,
- Remediation programs.
- Provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and regulatory documentations.

| Qualifications: |
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology or Chemistry.
- Between 1 and 10 years professional experience in contaminated site management, including soil and groundwater characterization/assessment, hydrogeology, contaminant chemistry and reclamation/remediation.
- If applicable, registration with APEGGA as either an E.I.T., P.Eng. or P.Geol. is preferred.
- Working knowledge of environmental guidelines under Alberta Environment and Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment.
- If applicable, ability and experience in the direction and mentoring of junior staff with a focus on teamwork.
