Responsibilities:

 

Our Red Deer office has an opportunity for an experienced Intermediate Land Development Engineer. The successful candidate can work well in a pressured environment that requires rapid change and adaptation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Completion of detailed engineering design for subdivision and Development Site Servicing Plans.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain plan approvals.
  • Involvement at initial planning stage through to final subdivision design.
  • Participate in a team where value is added for developers by designing high-quality, sustainable residential communities that are functional, innovative, attractive and reflect the lifestyle of its residents.


Qualifications:

 

  • Civil Engineering degree combined with relevant land development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years design experience in land development projects.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Capable of overseeing project design from inception to completion.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop and MS Office.
    • Experience with Civil-3D would be considered an asset. 
  • Local experience is highly desirable.
