We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.



Responsibilities:

 

Stantec’s Red Deer office is currently seeking a Senior Field Inspector to join our Environmental Infrastructure group.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise contractors work to ensure they are meeting design specifications on environmental infrastructure projects.
  • Arrange for materials and geotechnical testing.
  • Create deficiency reports.
  • Participate in the issuing of Construction Completion Certificates and Final Acceptance Certificates.


Qualifications:

 

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
  • Registered as a CET with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.
  • 10 years experience with either an engineering consultancy or general contractor in a site supervisory/inspection role.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Superior communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
