Responsibilities:

An opportunity exists in our Ottawa office for an Intermediate Civil Engineer or Technologist to become part of a dynamic Urban Land Development group providing services to local municipalities and the land development industry.  As the successful candidate, you posses a strong desire to create new, high quality residential communities through participation in a motivated design team setting.  Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of land development projects through both the design and construction phases.  Other duties would include the preparation of tender specifications for construction, contract administration of land development projects, and preparation of reports.



Qualifications:

As the ideal candidate, you hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering and are registered as a Professional Engineer or CET in the Province of Ontario or are eligible for registration. You have a minimum of three (3) years experience in land development consulting engineering environment and you have extensive knowledge of residential subdivisions, master servicing plans, stormwater management plans, site grading and servicing plans.  Your ability to work in a team environment, with minimal supervision, would be considered an asset. Ideally, you are a self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.  You have a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none.
