We are currently seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to join our Oil & Gas group in the Waterloo, Ontario office.

Your Duties

  • Manage, plan organize and work with multi-discipline teams in the delivery of project deliverables
  • Coordinate the preparation, review and approval of final midstream project engineering design reports
  • Oversee the development of construction contracts and the tender/analysis/award process
  • Report on project budget and schedule
  • Direct and coordinate the project midstream engineering team for the execution of the design of projects
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Oversee and mentor engineering and other technical staff
  • Ensure compliance with project plan and procedures
  • Reinforce corporate quality and safety standards
  • Direct the implementation of corporate quality and safety standards into the projects
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation of engineering work scope and cost estimations when required

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering Preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of pipeline and associated facilities design experience
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience
  • Lead engineering design executions role in projects with capital expenditures in excess of $10MM
    Work in the midstream oil and gas industry with experience in distribution and urban pipeline design, preferably in Ontario or Quebec
  • Supervision of 5-10 other engineering staff/project teams
  • Extensive experience with pipeline and facility design, construction and federal/provincial regulatory jurisdictions
  • P.Eng would be an asset, preferably in Ontario and/or Quebec
